The purpose of this Quick Start Guide is to highlight the most frequently used features in our new look. For additional information about these features, please follow the links provided in each area.

Login Screen

Page Layout:
- Your company's logo will appear at the top of the login page
- Username and Password fields are in the center along with the "Remember me" option. Note: "Remember me" only remebers your username, not your password.
- If your company has SSO enabled on the site, you'll login withth is button instead of entering your username and password area #2.
- Your company's client id is here if you need it for mobile login or customer support.
Creating A Folder
Step 1
At the top center of the screen is the toolbar. Click on the Create Folder button.
Step 2
Enter the desired folder name in the text box, and then click the Create Folder button.
Uploading Files and/or Folders To Your Account
Upload for Individual Files
Step 1
Navigate to and click on Upload on the toolbar.
Step 2
Click on Upload Files from the drop down menu.
Step 3
Select the file(s) you want to upload and then click the Open button.
Note:
Alternatively, you can drag and drop your files directly into the file list.
Upload for Entire Folders
Step 1
Navigate to and click on Upload on the toolbar.
Step 2
Click on Upload Folder from the drop down menu.
Step 3
Select the folder you want to upload and then click the Upload button and then accept the browser security notification.
Note:
Alternatively, you can drag and drop your folder directly into the file list.
Sharing Files With External Guest Links

FileShare Links
FileShare links allow you to share files with anyone, even if the recipient isn't a FileAssist user. Select the file(s) you would like to send, navigate to the Actions button, select FileShare from the drop down menu, and follow the prompts. A FileShare link is generated that can then be emailed or copied/pasted to your desired location. Recipients just click the link to download or view the files you shared.
FileShare links also comes with enhanced features, such as permissions, tracking, and history, giving you the ability to control your data.

FileReceive Links
FileReceive links allow you to designate a folder to receive files from anyone, even if the sender isn't a FileAssist user. FileReceive links can be emailed, or copied/pasted to your desired location. The recipient clicks the link, adds the file(s), and sends them securely to your account.
FileReceive links also come with advanced elements, such as individually designated folders, password protection, and link tracking, giving you the ability to manage incoming information.

Collaborating With Internal Users
Collaborate with internal users by sharing your folders and files with them. Manage your team with role based permissions and date expirations.
GroupShare
GroupShare is a powerful tool that allows you to share folders and collaborate with other users. Simply select the folder you wish to share, click on the Actions button in the toolbar, click on GroupShare from the drop down menu. A prompt allows you to add users and individually assign permissions so that you can regulate the way data is shared. You may also change these settings at any time to allow more or less access to shared folders.
